Vigil, Candlelighting Ceremony, and Group Sing
WHY: To honor those who died in ICE detention or while peacefully protesting since January 2025.
WHEN & WHERE: Thursday, Feb 26, 2026
- 5:30 pm Walking Vigil. Meet at Lafayette Park on the corner of Porter St & 4th St, Watkins Glen. Walk two blocks to St James Episcopal Church, 112 6th St. Please bring battery-operated candles.
- 5:45 pm: Arrival at the church. Those who choose not to walk can come directly to the church.
- At the church, a candle-lighting ceremony for each victim followed by song.
