Keep local health care
  The budget reconciliation act this summer makes severe cuts to Medicare and Medicaid. Our Congresswoman Claudia Tenney voted enthusiastically to cut this support for her constituents.  The cuts threaten everyone's access to local health care.  The cuts don't just affect the people receiving support from these programs (about 40% of Seneca County residents are on these). The local hospitals and medical providers depend on the revenue from these source to keep going. It appears that Rep. Tenney seeks a world where people who struggle to pay for medical insurance and people whose health limits how much they and work, will not be able to get medical care because they can't afford it. And the rest of the people.  Cities like Geneva and Canandaigua depend on the health system for a lot of jobs.
